About Our Company
History and Business Development
The company was founded in 1998. To increase the value added and to ensure the
desired product quality, an own production was established. A production hall of
approximate 400 sqm, equipped with the newest machines and machine tools was built
on a site bigger than 3000 sqm.
All facilities and processes were aligned to the specialization of roller production.

By additional land purchasing, the company site was increased to 3800 sqm and
simultaneously the existing production hall was extended to the actual size of
approximate 800 sqm.
Moreover, the company name was changed in order to implement clear enterprise identification. From July 2008 the new name is: WEMOTEC Walzen GmbH.

From 1st of January 2012 a cooperation was established with the company Rudolf Kuhn
– Walzentechnik in Tönisvorst. The private company Rudolf Kuhn Walzentechnik was
transformed into KUHN – Walzentechnik GmbH. WEMOTEC – Walzen GmbH and KUHN –
Walzentechnik GmbH will be both still managed independently. Managing Director of
both companies is Dipl. Ing. Heiner Mooren.
There will be synergies in both companies in the short- and medium term which will have positive effects in relation to customer requests. A larger service offer can now be offered, the products of the two companies complement each other outstandingly.
